Our roots began in 1946 when two brothers, Thomas and Winford Lykins, returned from their military service in World War II and began working together as Insurance Agents. They worked together and in the insurance industry for many years. In 1964, Tom established his own agency out of his home and began serving friends and family throughout Kentucky... where Tom Lykins Insurance was born. Tom established a reputation of helping others in his community and the agency grew to serve all of Eastern Kentucky. When the familys second generation joined in the business, our name became known throughout Kentucky as Lykins Insurance as it continued to grow. Tom and our family continued serving friends, family, clients and customers with every form of insurance to meet the needs of any business or individual.
