Sofabed-Mattress is a family owned and operated business located in central New Jersey.. After graduating college, my dad went to work in my uncles mattress factory. The factory had an outlet store, and dad worked in both places. That experience taught him both ends of the mattress business, retail and manufacturing. He founded this business in 195... 0. He made specialty mattresses for resale by mattress stores throughout the country. We make mattresses for hospitals, hotels, ships, boats, RV's, and of course, sofa beds. In the nineties my older brother arrived here. The business thrived. I joined the firm in 1996 and brought to it a degree in computer science and internet marketing. I had this site up and running two years before graduating and actually working here. These days both my brother and I work the factory, but I am the "chief cook" on the internet side of the business. Dad still comes in a few days a week. My name is David Paul.
