Sober Living Utah is a 24 hour a day, seven day a week, monitored residential aftercare facility for those who have completed primary inpatient treatment for chemical dependency. Our program is designed for individuals desirous to continue their recovery using the 12 steps and utilizing a framework providing a support system of others with a common... goal , to stay sober. The program offers our clients the unique combinations of an effective, proven treatment methodology and the serenity and introspection that is born by the natural beauty of our location. In addition, we recognize that people come to us with unique problems and circumstances. Our program provides the flexibility to address clients on an individual basis. Our house is a transitional living program dedicated to providing a home atmosphere; sensitive, well-trained and qualified staff; excellent facilities; and a wide range of educational and growth activities to help guide our residents through this critical phase of their recovery. While substance abuse has many dimensions and recovery is a long process, most experts in the field agree a strong halfway house utilizing its critical clinical component and coupled with individual and group activities, can be a valuable part of that process. Being chemically free is just the beginning. Chemical dependency is a chronic, progressive disease that disrupts all areas of a person's life, and if left untreated, is fatal. With the focus on personal responsibility, Sober Living Utah was developed to effectively address physical, psychological, behavioral, social, familial and spiritual aspects of the disease.
