Soaring Hearts Foundation

Soaring Hearts Foundation Incorporated is 501c approved non-profit organization with a purpose to provide necessary school supplies and tutoring to elementary school-aged and middle school-aged children staying at local homeless shelters and coalitions in the Orlando areas. Soaring Hearts mission is to empower at risk students through programs desi... gned to guide them through high school graduation and beyond. Because 80% of at-risk students are below average in reading, writing, and math, Soaring Hearts has partners with childrens homes, homeless shelters, schools, and parents to build a future for kids who would otherwise fail. Soaring Hearts Foundation, Inc. also plans to educate parents of the resources the community offers, including healthcare options, food stamps, and meal plans for their children. Soaring Hearts Foundation, Inc.s goal is to provide young students with the resources they need in order to enjoy, thrive, and succeed in their schooling. Children staying in homeless shelters do not always have the supplies and resources required for an effective education. Without sufficient funds due to financial hardships, families cannot always supply the necessary materials needed in the learning environment. Soaring Hearts Foundation, Inc. will bridge this gap by supplying school-related materials and tutoring for children in homeless coalitions. More often than not, parents struggling with homelessness are too preoccupied with finding a job, caring for their children, and managing their budget that they miss out on the opportunities that the community offers. We will partner with local food banks and other organizations in order to connect parents with the information and resources they may need to provide for their children.
