Snake River Builders Inc. (SRB) has been a full-service building company in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Teton Valley, Idaho since 1992. The company is owned and operated by John McIntosh, who has lived and built in the area since 1979. SRB specializes in custom residential building. We started off with log homes, moved into stick frame with timber hi... ghlights and into full timber frames with structural insulated panels (SIPs). Historical renovation, whole house remodels, barns and garages, kitchen and bath additions have all had (and still do) their chapters. We are currently integrating a creative blend of contemporary and rustic native materials on several projects. SRB is a "place-based" company and we value "place-based" design and construction principles. The practice of Green Building has been a part of our repertoire for many years. We continue to install as many sustainable features as we can on every project. SRB is licensed with the Town of Jackson Wyoming, and registered with the State of Idaho. We are fortunate to live in a place where many gifted and talented crafts-people have chosen to live and work. By creating a working environment that harnesses their talent and energy, we offer a unique product for our clients. Our team is a blend of crafts-people and entrepreneurs, artisans and hard-working tradesmen, family folk and young adventurers.
