Smith Mining Corp more than doubled over night to 85 employees, working as contractors to larger mining corporations. Smith Mining Corp continue to grow in the late 90's as the mining boom started to boost the industry's work. Smith Mining Corp won 8 consecutive contracts in 2001, turning over 150 million dollars.
