In response to this, we offer a discretionary management service. This service can be offered to clients whatever their particular investment needs. At its simplest level it can be utiliz... ed alongside the model portfolio offerings in order for investment decisions to proceed in as timely fashion as possible. It allows investors to accept the on-going investment decisions of the investment committee without being troubled by paperwork to complete each time a change is made to the model portfolio in which they are invested. This service is offered to all model portfolio clients at no extra charge to the advisory option. However sometimes the client might require greater investment flexibility than the model portfolios are designed for. In these circumstances we have the expertise, experience and resources to manage a range of portfolios for clients, including all-equity (stock and share) portfolios. These can be managed on a discretionary basis, which enables the portfolio manager to make investments to buy or sell underlying assets held in the portfolio without reference to the client.
