In 2007 the Ontario Legislature, enacted Bill 171 to remove the restriction that prevented dental hygienists from cleaning clients teeth without first having to obtain an order from a dentist. This opened the opportunity for dental hygienists to start a new tier of care in oral health services. The company allows clients to obtain and accessible oral hygiene care when and where they need it. This is particularly important for residents of long-term care facilities, the home bound, those caring for disabled children and adults.
