Director, Paul Clouston, has extensive experience in the construction industry dating back to 1971 when he commenced his career as a Quantity Surveyor before progressing to Chief Quantity Surveyor specializing in commercial and government department projects throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. In 1997, Paul joined SMC Construction as Ma... naging Director and is directly involved in all projects from the tendering process through to completion. Paul is backed by an experienced management team and an extensive network of sub-contractors. The combination of outstanding leadership, experienced personnel and solid financial management has contributed to SMC's success. SMC is especially proud of the fact that returning clients account for more than 80% of our business every year. SMC has completed many buildings in East Tamaki business district, but while we are located in East Auckland, we have an extensive portfolio of projects around the Auckland region. We understand how important trust is in a client/contractor relationship.
