Sunny Portal is an Internet platform for the entry, management and presentation of data for power engineering devices and systems. It is an information service provided by SMA Solar Technology AG (in the following referred to as SMA) to all registered users (in the following referred to as user(s)) by way of its Web site sunnyportal.com. The user i... ntegrates data from photovoltaic plants equipped with SMA inverters and data communication devices (in the following referred to as plant) to the data system of Sunny Portal by way of a technical connection. The Sunny Portal allows uninterrupted access to this data. The user can be the respective plant operator of the affected plant(s) within the meaning of the law for the prioritization of renewable energies or a third party acting in his name and/or on his behalf, in particular, the installer of the plant(s). Usage In order to use Sunny Portal, the user is assigned one or more passwords and one or more user IDs after he registers. The user is required to handle all user IDs and passwords confidentially and to refrain from disclosing them to unauthorized third parties. Registration entitles the user to configure, query, view and display in graphical form the data pertaining to the plant. SMA must be notified immediately upon the loss of login data, or when it is suspected that the data has been misused. Should SMA become aware of this, SMA is permitted to take the necessary counter-measures and, particularly in the case of misuse, to prevent the affected user from using Sunny Portal further. Misuse applies in particular when unauthorized persons modify plant parameters, associated components or configurations of Sunny Portal and such modifications have a negative effect.
