Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry building simple, decent homes in partnership with those in need of affordable housing. Our Vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat invites people from all walks of life to join in the mission to eliminate poverty housing worldwide. The San Luis Valley is one of the most economically challenged regions in Colorado, and we know that there are many who are in need of decent, affordable housing. Our goal is 5 IN 5, serve 5 more families in the next 5 years. We know we can achieve this goal with YOUR help. Families qualify based on their need for decent housing, willingness to partner with Habitat, and the ability to repay a mortgage.
