This is where I grew up and where I developed a love of the outdoors, an appreciation for community and a high regard for the farmers of the world. With so many friends and family working as orchardists, I saw first... hand the importance of sustainable farming. I also saw the damage caused by broken systems that robbed hardworking farmers of their living. This is why we focus on direct trade relationships at Sitka Coffee Roasters. We choose relationship over transaction, paying farmers for the quality of their product and working with them to share techniques and knowledge that will continue to improve their crops.
