SITA Couture styles are inspired by founder Sita Thompsons unique life experience. She was raised on an organic farm with both Mexican and Native heritage. As was custom, she learned to sew as a young girl, and at 11 years old started making her own patterns. At the age of 17, she moved to Paris to begin a career in fashion. For the next twenty years she traveled around the world, immersing herself in cultures, becoming fluent in six languages, and learning about fabrics.
