Single Loop Ranch

Single Loop Ranch is 70 acres of beauty nestled in the hills of Cherokee County, Oklahoma. We like to keep 20 Mama Angus bred cows with a registered Angus Bull. We consider our beef production to be all natural. We sell our natural grass fed beef from our ranch and also through the Tahlequah Farmer's Market, Norris Park, April thru October. Our cat... tle are pastured 24/7 in pastures of local grasses. They have full access to water and to a creek that runs through the fields. In winter months we feed them round baled hay that is locally grown. They have access to unmediated salt blocks and minerals at all times. Our cattle have never been given hormones, steroids, or bi-products. They are grass finished. All of our calves have been born and raised on our ranch. Our cattle are exposed to a minimum amount of stress from the sweet grass to the packing house. We also raise a small flock of heritage breed chickens that all lay large brown to beige eggs. They are also sold from our ranch and at the Tahlequah Farmer's Market. At present time my flock includes Rhode Island Reds, Plymouth Rocks, Buff Orpingtons, Black Australorps ...and a new batch of Silver Laced Wyandottes are laying now ! I like a fun mix!
