My name is Kate Ferguson and I provide singing lessons for students of all ages and abilities. I have taught many students over the last few years and would be more than happy to teach you to sing as... well. I cover many modern and contemporary styles of singing, helping my students develop their vocal ability through a course of structured and tailored lessons designed especially for each one of my students. I'm a skilled, enthusiastic and qualified singing teacher, having been classically trained and gained my Grade 8 and an Advanced Diploma (Trinity) in which I achieved a Distinction. I have experience teaching students from beginner levels upwards, as well as a lot of experience tutoring younger learners of all ages. I'm very happy to cater my singing lessons towards those looking to sing simply for their own pleasure, as well as to those who have specific focuses, including auditions, coursework or a special event that they wish to perform at. Kate is a brilliant vocal coach here in Plymouth. She taught me to sing in her relaxed and exciting lessons, helping me develop my confidence and build up my vocal strength. Alongside my singing tuition I am also an active singer-songwriter within the Devon folk music community. I play gigs across Devon at venues such as The Royal Oak, The Brook Inn, and The China House, both alone and in collaboration with other artists. As well as playing traditional and modern folk music, I also write my own original material.
