As a Registered Massage Therapist with over 13 years of experience, Laraines deep love of massage therapy encouraged her to pursue a career in teaching others to follow their passions in health care. Laraine is a Professor of Massage Therapy at Fanshawe College, a previous Director of Education at the DArcy Lane Institute of Massage and the previous Community Network representative for her professional organization. Laraine brings both education and experience to the massage table. A degree in Health Science/Kinesiology followed by a two-year post-graduate study in Massage Therapy provided the background Laraine required to become a Registered Massage Therapist in 2006. Since that time, Laraine has completed additional and advanced training in; TMJ Dysfunction, Post-Concussion Syndrome, PTSD, Low Intesity Laser Therapy, TENS, Ultrasound, IFC, Soft Tissue Release, Myofascial Release, and many more. Laraine is a previous competitive athlete who still enjoys running and weight lifting and is an active member of her community and church.
