Simply Amazing

Simply Amazing is a non-profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to provide art and craft supplies that inspire creativity and empower deserving children. Simply Amazing provides children living in temporary housing, foster care, or participating in youth at-risk programs, with the gift of a Simply Amazing Creative Boxes. Each box is for their personal us... e and includes art and creative supplies that are safe and easy to use, along with instructions and guided activities to stimulate creativity. Children, who are thrust into unfamiliar living arrangements or are in stressful home-life situations, often feel powerless to change their circumstances. Shelters and programs can provide the necessities like food and lodging, but not necessarily the tools for creativity. Researchers have found that art for kids promotes confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, patience, and determination. Children who have been exposed to tragedy or abuse need opportunities to express themselves in a positive way. Simply Amazing supplies the creative tools, instruction, and encouragement for these children to artistically express themselves and provide a creative escape from their current situations. We are pleased to accept gently used art and craft supplies and new items like crayons and markers. Please click here for a suggested list of items. Funds assist with printing costs, products that are unique to Simply Amazing, and recurring administrative costs.
