Simeon has been working as an accredited Florist within the florist industry for well over 35 years, but he wont say how long exactly-. His career began from the age of 8 working for his family after school, who own and operate a retail florist chain in Sydney. At 17 Simeon entered into the business and studying Floristry and Horticulture. Simeon a... lso studied floristry around the world, in New Zealand, London, Amsterdam and learnt directly from Bill Kistler at American Floral Art School in Chicago. The American Floral Art School teaches top students from all over the world and Bill was a chief designing florist for the "White House". Simeon has had stores in the Regent Hotel in the city, or Sofitel as it is now, and then in Glenferrie Road, Malvern. In the early 1990's Simeons returned to Sydney to help manage his families business. He was responsbile for the corporate and design divisions of the business. In 1994, Simeon returned to Melbourne, opened his own shop in Elsternwick with his wife Miriam and hasn't looked back since.
