Silverlight is designed to be a browser plug. This advantage can be taken to achieve the requirement of running Silverlight inside an executable. This is going to be a hybrid solution rather than being a straight forward way, recommended only in case you want to make use of any Silverlight control/application inside your own application instead of recreating/porting the code to WPF or use Silverlight control inside any non .net executable (Win32 applications). Using Browser control inside the executable is one option I can think of right now.
