Established in 2012. Were a family farm raising cattle for meat, chickens for eggs and meat, pigs for meat and we raise honey bees. Our animals are all pasture raised and thrive on grass from healthy pastures and all the bugs the chickens can find. We have farm fresh eggs in shades of browns, blues and greens ready to be picked up. Our meats includ... e ground beef, porterhouse, NY strip, steak tips and more from Low-line Aberdeens, a more compact Angus. From the heritage Berkshire pigs we have sausages in bulk, patties or links. Please check our website for flavors. We also have 2-4lb Boston butts, chops, pork steaks and bacon to name a few. Grab the bacon when its available, it goes fast! Our broilers run about 5 lbs and are delicious. We also carry both chicken & beef bones for broth. Call with questions, were pretty good with answers! Silver Lake Farm is a local family farm in Woodruff, South Carolina. We started farming because we felt we couldnt support big farming practices and the mistreatment of animals. So, we got 5 chickens, two heritage pigs and we were so excited to be farmers! Little did we know, many others felt the same way but didnt have the circumstances to raise animals. Word started spreading that we had extra eggs and a business was started. Weve found a happy balance of family, work & time to just relax. We were both born in NJ but made our way to Seacoast NH and raised our son there. Cliff was in IT and was/is a master cabinet maker & I taught drivers ed.
