The Brighton Wing is the long-term care component of Shorrock Gardens. It has 60 beds offering professional nursing care and many fine amenities: Private dining rooms throughout the residence; Queen Anne style cherry mahogany furnishings and accessories; Covered patio overlooking an enclosed courtyard and gazebo; Multiple recreation rooms. The Evergreen Wing is the sub-acute care unit at Shorrock Gardens. It has 30 beds offering rehabilitation services including physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Other services include: IV therapy; Stroke and vascular and wound recovery; Post-surgical care; Recuperative care following hospitalization. The Applewood Wing is the long-term care unit for people in the earlier stages of Alzheimer's disease or memory loss, at Shorrock Gardens Care Center. It has 60-beds offering: Specialized programming for those suffering from Alzheimer's Disease or other dementias; Staff trained to understand and work with this population of residents; Secure exterior courtyards for outdoor activities; Sensory-related visual and tactile aids throughout; Additional activity programming geared toward the memory impaired; Private, secure setting. The Meadows Wing is the long-term care unit for people in the advanced stages of Alzheimer's disease and memory loss at Shorrock Gardens Care Center.
