Shooting Stars Theatrical Distribution is dedicated to providing excellent entertainment to moviegoers in the region. In June 2004, Warner Bros. announced the appointment of Shooting Stars as their Middle East agents for the licensing of consumer products. This entails everything from apparel, footwear and accessories, to toys, stationery and promo... tions. Since there was no previous representation based in the region it is an exciting opportunity and a chance for Warner Bros. to have the retail presence it deserves. Warner Bros. portfolio include: Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo and not to forget iconic DC Comics characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman..., all of which now have a presence within the retail market of the Middle East. Following from this and seeing the business potential within consumer product licensing in the Middle East, FOX Consumer products also cemented their confidence in the Shooting Stars team and announced that they too would represent them in the region. This added characters such as The Simpsons, Ice Age, Rio, Marilyn Monroe to name just a few to their existing fantastic portfolio. Soon after, Shooting Stars gained the gaming properties from Activision that represents two of the biggest games in the world: Skylanders and Call of Duty. With animation characters, gaming and movies covered, Shooting Stars recognized a gap within the sporting sector and actively pursued Nike Football Clubs which hold some of the top football clubs and federations within their portfolio including: Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus. In May 2013, they were officially named as being the licensing agency to represent the Nike Football Clubs for the Middle East. Shooting Stars' mission within the licensing arena is to expand the brands within their remit, gaining maximum exposure within the region whilst ensuring the integrity and status of the brands are upheld at all times.Read More
