Then we have the contracting arm, Shearer Contracting, which consists of a small group of highly skilled workers which are all loaded with Passive fire experience and are constantly retraining in the latest products and techniques. Nothing is too big or too small, with a team of two recently completing the entire passive fire stopping of Benmore dam and the Haywards substation (major New Zealand infrastructure upgrades). Shearer fire now also have an inspection arm, FINZ (Fire Inspections NZ), which is able to provide passive fire inspections for any situation or building for BWOFs or even 'due diligence' for pre purchases of commercial buildings.
