With over thirty years of experience, Eng. Mohamed Shatat had a vision to guide Shatat Group on the path to success. Reaching back to 1981, Mohamed Shatat had foreseen the possibility of a growth momentum, as a private sector company, and had put in place prudent strategies to focus on key strengths and take part in Egypt's economic development and expand to set footprints on the regional map. Eng. Mohamed Shatat started his career by joining several public sector companies and taking part in the execution of mega projects in Africa namely: Railway project across Southern and Western Sudan Libya High Dam (highest dam in Africa) Railway project of Al Wahat for iron ore transportationfrom Al Wahat to steel factories in Helwan. Fueled by optimism, and backed with experience, Eng. Shatat started his private business in Egypt based on a substantial contribution to growth and enhanced with distinctive strengths through regional experience. After a thirty year journey, our corporate profile has grown to include three distinct business sectors: Shatat Construction, Shatat Medical and Shatat Agri-Food. The current structure aims at enhancing long term vale creation capabilities of businesses allowing each sector to have a greater strategic impact. We have expanded to be a holding group with 1500 employees we regard as family members and a capital valued at EGP 300 million with an annual turnover exceeds 500 million EGP with strong regional presence in both Egypt & Sudan .
