Sharon Coleman & Associates

Sharon Coleman is a family child care educator and founder of the SCA ~ Sharon Coleman & Associates' website. She is also the Owner/Director of Loving Care for Kids, a successful large family child care and preschool facility in Suisun City. Sharon established her child care business in March 2001. In September of 2003, she received her first Certi... ficate of Accreditation from the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), which certifies that her program has the highest standards of quality child care. Since then her program has been reaccredited three times! She is a NAFCC Accreditation Observer, an Accreditation Facilitator for Solano County and a certified instructor of CPR, Pediatric First Aid and Preventative Health & Safety for the American Red Cross. She was President of the Solano County Licensed Family Child Care Association for four years, and now acts as the Past President. She is currently President of the California Association for Family Child Care. As an advocate and community service member for children, Sharon actively networks with family child care providers and educators to exchange ideas, techniques and share concerns to improve the quality of early care for all children statewide. Sharon has a Child Development Site Supervisor Teaching Credential from the State of California. She will graduate with a BS in Early Childhood Education from Pacific Union College in June 2012. She works as a "mentor" to other family child care providers and assists them in starting and managing their child care businesses.
