Shared Energy Management (Pty) Ltd was established in March 1997 with the intention of providing effective energy management services and contracts to both the commercial and industrial sectors. Shared Energy Management (Pty) Ltd is presently responsible for managing the energy consumption of over 60 sites in the Cape Town region since 1997 when we... have been awarded the tender by the Department of Public Works. A similar tender was won for the Gauteng region and our office in Centurion started working on these sites in January 2000 and presently the Gauteng offices manage about 30 sites. The company employs professional engineers, technicians, certified electricians and qualified plumbers to design and construct energy and water turnkey projects. Three of the engineers are registered as certified energy managers. SEM assisted to establish four BEE companies, which assist with the implementation of the work.
