About SHAR
The SHAR Alumni was formed in 1999. As part of its Mission and Declaration of Purposes, the Alumni Association has the aims and objectives to be a vital component of SHAR Foundation, to perpetuate, assist and improve the programs of SHAR, Inc. for the therapy of clients and for their subsequent rehabilitation and re-entry into society as sustained useful, participating citizens; and to provide assistance and support to the activities of SHAR Foundation. The Association recognizes that it can be best carried out by making the primary areas of involvement: To assist and provide public relations activity on behalf of SHAR programs. The generation of supplemental funds for SHAR Foundation. Recruitment of program completions for membership in the Alumni Association. The education and mutual support of the Association's membership to better assure ongoing sobriety and relapse prevention.
