Shane's Camels

We put the family in family business! Shane started out doing camel rides 20 years ago. He has been involved with multiple zoos, festivals, fairs, church events, private parties and more. Shane finds his passion in providing entertainment and smiles to children of all ages! In high school he told everyone that he was going to work camels for a livi... ng....needless to say, no one believed him, but two decades later....he really is living his dream. We are a licensed facility with the USDA and are fully insured. We are proud to offer a safe experience for our guests and our animals. Our farm is located in Sheridan, Michigan just outside of Greenville. We are conveniently located between Grand Rapids and Lansing and travel to multiple states to bring our camels to your event! Our camels are dromedary camels, meaning they only have one hump. Many people think that hump is filled with water, but it actually is how they store fat.
