In 2015, growing tired of the local fare, 3 boys who craved a healthier, more active food source to enhance their energy levels whilst surfing, came up with a unique concept to rival traditional local menus. The inception was Shaka Cafes, specialising in healthy, dynamic, tasty meals. The boys created a concept fitting for the island charm. With Am... bient music, delicious and eye-catching healthy food, these island-vibe cafes have grown to international acclaim. Capturing guests all over the world, who are also on the hunt for a varied, healthier menu — away from the typically high, fatty, and meaty meals, commonly found through the Philippines. With a business model that centers on environmental sustainability and giving back to the community, SHAKA’s core values have had an everlasting positive effect in all its locations. With enviromental sustainability engrained in the fabric of SHAKA mitigating plastic is paramount in a world full of single use wastes, and high pollution. We partake, and sponsor beach clean-up drives, and animal refuge and rehabilitation initiatives. We also sponsor outstanding youth, who show potential and commitment to reach their dreams.
