Shaffer's has been manufacturing custom made suits and shirts since 1943. For over 73 years, Shaffer's tailors, cleaners, and men's shop has served the Mercer and Lower Bucks County areas with the finest in men's clothing a... nd tailoring for men and women. Established in 1943 by Diego and Carrie DiMartino on 931 Brunswick Ave. in Trenton, the shop enjoys the status of the oldest tailor shop in the area. Since 1974, Shaffer's has been under the direction of the DiMartino's nephew Pasquale Chiavatti. A master tailor and originally an apprentice of his uncle's, Pasquale has expanded his top-notch services and lines of business over the years. In 2006, Shaffer's moved to US Route 1 which allowed us to offer formalwear rental and sales and expand the dry cleaning service and increase our inventory of designer labels. "Moving to Lawrenceville has allowed us to enlarge both our product line and our range of services. We are very excited about adding formal wear, increasing our inventory of designer labels and cutsom shirts and suits, and growing our custom tailoring. We have expanded our dry cleaning services, providing premier service with the most special attention to detail.
