Welcome to Shade Tree Kennels, the Home of the Pointing Labs. Located in La Center, WA we are a small private kennel in business to breed only the best AKC/APLA Yellow Pointing Labradors available on the West Coast. We want our dogs to hunt hard, have staunch points, great noses, be excellent retrievers with strong drive and marking ability and be... your companion and family dog as well. Thats a pretty tall order for most dogs. Not at Shade Tree Kennels. Our dogs are proven in the field as working dogs and also in AKC and APLA Hunt Tests where they have earned many titles including 4x Grand Master Pointing Retriever, AKC Master Hunter and AKC Master National Retriever. We are proudly standing 4x Grand Master Pointing Retriever STKs Tub Full Of Mallards MH MNR (Ted) at stud to approved females. Ted is proof that our program is working, having achieved his 4x Grand Master Pointing Retriever, AKC Master Hunter titles and twice has passed the AKC Master National Retriever test (2013 and 2014). This year we will cross Ted with STKs Hot Grits And Biskits SH (Ruby). Ruby is a ball of fire in the field, theres no quit in this little girl.
