They all have a shared purpose of offering a total coverage of adjustment services in the different lines of insurance, such as engineering and construction, mining, energy, manufacturing, ports and airports, fixed assets, catastrophes, fires, contingency and sundry (Theft, mobile equipment, electronic equipment, etc.), hull, casualty, marine, air and land transport, aquaculture, forest risk, agricultural insurance, personal accidents and multiple-risks in general. SGC Ajustadores started operations in 1978 and developed important activities in the adjustments of casualty, employee's loyalty, financial risks and guarantees. In 1985, after a significant modification in their strategy, it became the first Chilean loss adjustment firm to represent a foreign company, when it staring working with Richard Hogg Services, the oldest and most prestigious company in the maritime and air insurance market. In 1995 the company changed its name to SGC and incorporated a new partner, a professional of wide experience in engineering insurance.
