SF Environment

The San Francisco Environment Department operates the Virtual Warehouse, an online platform designed for the reuse of surplus items submitted by city departments. This initiative aims to prevent waste, save costs, and support the city's zero waste goals by facilitating the reuse, recycling, and proper disposal of surplus materials. Intended clients... include city staff, non-profit organizations, and schools, who can access and manage surplus items through the platform. The Virtual Warehouse promotes sustainability by allowing city departments to donate or recycle items that are no longer needed.Read More
