I was a previous brick and mortar retail store front owner in the 12 volt Mobile Electronics Industry for over 20 years. Business started to change, when mail order magazines became popular, affecting some retail sales. Then came Ebay, slowly over time, putting the nail in the coffin of my retail business, plus, later on, factoring in our economy.... During just over a 5 year span, the business was dwindling. I just couldnt compete with Ebays aggressive price points below my wholesaled costs. Aggravated, knowing business was going south, I made a decision to learn more about Marketing, especially Online, since, obviously, this is where all consumers were flocking to these days. I reverse-engineered many websites and studied over the next 7 years, figuring out, how my business was beaten up so badly by online stores and understanding the consumers buying from them. I learnt, how to overcome and harness it, through training, multiple courses, systems, building websites, creating videos, marketing those websites and videos, to get them to rank on the first page of Google. Along the way, I was creating my own techniques, testing them over and over again. As a result, they still work, to this day, for Local Businesses. Finally, 2008 spawned SETEM (See Eye To Eye Marketing), bringing my knowledge, after building a team of specialists and services, to businesses locally, here on the Island, and across the US.
