Seta is a not-for-profit Group Training Association. We are also a registered charity. We were set up over 40 years ago to service the training needs of engineering businesses. We are constantly adapting our offering to meet current and future requirements. Seta has an enviable reputation with North East companies for helping to develop skilled wor... kforces. It is the largest Engineering Training Centre in Tyne & Wear with it's own workshops, which includes state of the art CNC lathes and machining centres. From our Washington base we provide a training service for many companies, covering a range of business sectors. We offer Engineering Apprenticeships, Traineeships, and both standard and bespoke commercial training courses. Our Location allows easy access from both the A1 and A19. Training is delivered in a professional and friendly manner either on or off site to best suit the needs of any organisation. Seta is delighted to announce that, following last year's Ofsted inspection, we are now officially rated as a "Good" training provider. This result was achieved against the new, and more demanding, Common Inspection Framework standard, introduced in September 2012.
