SERGI has been created in 1955 by Electricite de France to develop a solution to extinguish transformer fire. After 2 years of research, the drain and stir system has been developed. In mid 90s, SERGI invented and developed the first solution to prevent transformer from exploding, the SERGI 3000 System. As a result, a new solution, the TRANSFORMER PROTECTOR (TP), has been created in the years 2000. SERGI has created the niche market for transformer explosion and fire prevention and is the world leader in this field. As an answer to the Asian growing market in the Energy Sector, SERGI has incorporated a subsidiary in India to market the TP and manage the after sales services in Asia and Oceania.
