Serenity Wellness Center

SWC is registered as a non-profit social enterprise, a company limited by guarantee and affiliated with the Psychology Association of Zambia. Our core services include addiction treatment (residential rehabilitation, individual and group therapy), family/couple counseling, crisis counseling, psycho-education, training and workshops on mental health... and child safeguarding policy formulation. So far, we have conducted three (3) 30 days addiction residential treatments for 50 vulnerable youths mostly living with HIV, trained 75 teachers from 3 schools and 30 college students in substance abuse basic awareness and interventions. We continue to offer psychological and psychotherapy support to hundreds (100s) of children, youths and adults, most referred by families and institutions, in various mental health aspects. Recently, we facilitated a training for Little Assisi Special School on child safeguarding policy formulation and implementation. Currently, we support persons battling covid-19 induced mental health challenges funded by YANA Foundation. To achieve the above, we have partnered with both international and local organizations such as Aids Healthcare Foundation, Drug Enforcement Commission, Serenity Harm Reduction Program Zambia, Zambia Commission of Catholic Bishops, University Teaching Hospital, St. Bonaventure University (Zambia) and other individual supports.
