With her past experience managing a high capacity thoroughbred breeding farm for many years, she then moved along to caring for thoroughbreds in race training, directly overseeing their care, breaking, training and rehabbing when returning from the track injured. Melissa then transitioned onto managing a "A" hunter show barn, and worked for many ye... ars riding and caring for show horses. Beyond her exceptional horsemanship, Melissa is a talented rider, with experience riding upper level dressage, hunter & jumpers, she enjoys exercising the boarder's horses when needed. Melissa's greatest expertise is dealing with "difficult" or "hard to handle" horses that are laid up from an injury, or just returning back to work after an extended period of time off.
