Regina Catholic School Division operates a comprehensive French Immersion program serving kindergarten through grade 8 students in a faith-based educational environment. The division's core academic mission centers on developing functional fluency in both French and English while ensuring students meet all Ministry of Education curricular outcomes... across subject areas. French instruction comprises 90 percent of classroom time in kindergarten, gradually decreasing to 70 percent by grade 8, allowing students to achieve bilingual competency without compromising academic breadth. Catholic faith formation represents a foundational pillar of the school experience, with students participating in daily prayers, twice-weekly assemblies, and seasonal liturgical celebrations throughout the academic year. The division maintains strong parish partnerships, with students attending a minimum of four masses annually at Holy Cross Parish and individual classes participating in weekday morning masses with parishioners; families and community members are invited to all liturgical celebrations. Beyond core academics and religious instruction, Regina Catholic School Division offers an extensive extracurricular program that includes competitive athletics such as football, track, volleyball, cross-country, and basketball, as well as enrichment activities including choir, French improv, musical productions, Club du Souvenir, and various student clubs. A dedicated band program serves grades 6 through 8 students. The division also operates Ma Premire cole, a preschool program located at cole St. Andrew that serves children ages three and four, expanding access to faith-based early childhood education.
