Sentio is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. Sentio, Inc. is a not-for-profit global education network that was created in 2014 as a subsidiary of AFS... Intercultural Programs, Inc. (AFS) to develop a global network of member organizations to further promote the AFS mission and provide intercultural learning opportunities for adults. AFS is a not-for-profit international education organization that, since 1947, has provided enriched intercultural learning experiences through global study abroad programs, volunteerism, structured learning methods and reflection. While the AFS network runs programs for youth, the Sentio network runs programs for adults. Members of the Sentio Network are uniquely aligned by a core set of values that help us to do business together. As a network, Sentio stands for: Ethical: Sentio will act in an ethical manner when dealing with, or representing members; demonstrating the highest standards of trustworthiness, fairness, caring, citizenship, respect and responsibility. Excellence: Sentio will strive to be the premier membership organization for 18+ mobility providers and in the management and development of this market and the Sentio brand.
