Trudy is the founder of Senior Moment Solutions, LLC. She has over 30 years experience working within the healthcare environment for global clinical research organizations, successful start-up companies, hospitals and large clinical laboratories. She has broad-based industry experience in clinical trials, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and medical co... mmunications. In addition to her extensive healthcare experience, Trudy is a Certified Caregiving Consultant (CCC) and Certified Professional Coach (CPC) specializing in elder care services and support for family caregivers as they care for their aging parents. She is a bereavement support facilitator, a trained home health aide and also has experience as a hospice volunteer. Trudy earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, St. Francis University, PA; Master of Science in Biology, Seton Hall University, NJ; she became a Certified Professional Coach from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) in 2010 and a Certified Caregiving Consultant in 2018. She currently resides in central New Jersey. Inspiration for Senior Moment Solutions, LLC Although I spent many years working in healthcare, I was totally unprepared to care for my dad when he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. My siblings and I tried our best to care for him but we were always exhausted. It eventually was too much for our mom as well. Looking back, I realize how stressful it was for our entire family. We barely survived each day and found ourselves reacting to each medical crisis rather than creating a plan together. We were not prepared to be caregivers - we were only prepared to love our parents no matter what. After completing this end-of-life journey with my parents, I decided to help others prepare for caregiving and hopefully avoid a crisis like we experienced.
