The Cottages maintain a rustic character and highlight the historic past of Selside Hall, which is reflected in the cottages names of Thomasin and Selsed. Selside is a historic and serene location for your self catering holiday. The cottages lead to numerous footpaths, including the Dales Way and access to Longsleddale, offer a variety of wild flowers, and quiet roads for cycling, with the historic market town of Kendal and magnificent Lake Windermere just a short drive away, convenient for shopping and provisions, as well as scenic and tranquil surroundings. In a serene setting just outside the busy but beautiful Lake District National Park, Selside Hall cottages offer "the best of both worlds" and a wonderful self catering holiday destination. Externally the facilities provide secure self contained parking, individual gardens, a walled BBQ/seating area, as well as an additional open area if required for pet owners. Tastefully transformed, our cottages have been carefully converted with modern and sympathetic taste - from hand made door furniture, to wool upholstery, using heritage colours and high quality fittings.
