Selsey U3A

Our activities include monthly Open Meetings and a variety of Special Interest Groups that meet regularly during the month. The Events Manager Jill Sturdey organises the guest speakers for the monthly meeting ensuring their subjects cover a wide variety of topics. In addition to this Jill is also kept very busy organising social events, coach trips... , outings to places of interest and fund raising. Every Open Meeting begins with a welcoming cup of tea or coffee with biscuits, and this is then followed with a short briefing about our latest groups, upcoming news and events including displays of our activities. The Guest Speaker is introduced and gives a talk for about 45mins to 1 hour and the afternoon concludes with the drawing of the Raffle and answers to the quiz. The meetings provide an excellent opportunity for our members to meet, socialise, to learn and laugh together.
