SEL-Imperial operates from a central sales office at Doncaster, utilising the latest technology in computer and telephony systems to enable the staff to quickly identify the customer and the parts they require. From the Doncaster sales office, the warehousing operations based at Doncaster, and with distribution centres in Glasgow, Featherstone, Leigh, Telford, Thetford, Luton, Basildon, Bridgend, Bristol & Exeter, SEL-Imperial are able to supply a next day delivery throughout the majority of England and Scotland. The SEL-Imperial delivery fleet comprises over 60 vehicles ranging in size from 7.5 tonne box wagons, Iveco Dailys, Fiat Ducatos, Ford Transits, Toyota Hiaces. Scheduling of deliveries and vehicle routes are planned by sophisticated logistics software, to ensure all the orders taken can be delivered the day the customers expect them. All the vehicles are fitted with satellite tracking systems to ensure the transport team can pinpoint the exact position of the vehicle, and together with the details of the planned routes the team can advise customers of an accurate approximate time of their delivery.
