I started this business w/ one specific mission in mind, "create a better Uintah Basin". How do we do that, you might ask? We utilize our services to support those with special needs such as myself. I have been living with a sort of autism, called Asperger's Syndrome*(check out this link to an external website if interested in Autism or Asperger's)... * all my life. I don't think of it as a "disability" but rather a special ability, or as others might call it, special needs. Now, I'll let you define to yourself what special needs are, as there are many definitions of that. You might be wondering why people with "special needs" are preferred for us to utilize as our staff? Well, let me start with reminding you of our specific mission to "create a better Uintah Basin". We utilize people with specific special needs, varying from Autism to different high functioning disorders, to accomplish our products and services we provide, which I will mention later and you can find on this website. How do we help create a "better Uintah Basin"? Our staff members are trained how to complete one of 2 services for our clients. When they are trained, they accomplish all on their own or with limited supervision the services provided by us. Many of our staff members have not only benefitted from the work and getting money to help with their money needs (for money is important to get anywhere in life), but they gain much more valuable work experience. With the gained work experience, they can either keep working for us, or if they want to try another job or get a good career elsewhere. I encourage all staff members past, present and future to look at their options for advancement anywhere and hope only for their success. All this is "creating abetter Uintah Basin".
