Seidman Avocats

Leonard E. Seidman has been the President of Seidman Avocats Inc., since its inception in early 2016 after having been a partner of Seal Seidman, G.P. which he joined in 1974. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science in 1969 from the Arts and Science Faculty of McGill University, and his Bachelor of Civil Law degre... e from the Faculty of Law at McGill University in 1972. He was admitted to the Bar of the Province of Quebec in January 1974 and to the State Bar of California in June 1979 following which he was authorized to practice before the United States District Court in April 1984. In June 1, 2016, Seidman Avocats Inc., assumed the continuation of the operations of Mr. Seidmans partnership in Seal Seidman, G.P. which had been established in 1999. Seidman Avocats Inc. has expanded the scope and variety of legal services available through its association with other legal service providers in specialized areas of the law, including intellectual property, privacy and personal information protection compliance, and labour law. In November 2019, Mr. Seidman accepted the invitation of the Pinto Legal law firm to serve as their Senior Counsel. Mr. Seidmans career in commercial litigation has permitted him to plead before all the courts in Quebec, the Federal Court of Canada, and, on three successful occasions before the Supreme Court of Canada in the cases landmark cases of: Leonard E.
