About Seham
Alakrami Brothers Company was first established in Syria as the Carmen Factory in the early 1950s by Mounir Alakrami. Later, the companys name was changed to SEHAMFOODSTUFFCO. in the advent of the extreme popularity and success of the Seham chewing gum brand mid 1980s. Around that time, the establishment bought the ASEEL brand, went international, and had customers all around the Arab region, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Hungary, and Poland. In the year 2000, the company grounds were expanded significantly to accommodate for an increase in production. In the year 2008, Mounir Alakrami passed away leaving a huge dent in the gum industry in Syria and the Arab region. Now, Alakrami Brothers Company is owned and led by his sons.Explore more
