If we don't feel any property works from what you've shown us - what happens? We discuss with you a plan of attack moving forward. It might mean that we reschedule your property search until a different part of... the year, or discuss other options with regards to the styles of property or areas selected. Do you ask me to sign any legal agreement to engage you? We have a simple one page agreement which helps outline the arrangement between Secret Agent and yourself. No messy and complicated legal jargon, just straight to the point facts that you need to know. How long does our agreement with Secret Agent last for? The agreement is for 6 months exclusive search time, however this is not an indication of how long it will take! Sometimes the right property will be found and acquired within the week, but other times 6 months may not be enough. We understand the the property search needs to be customised to individual needs, and we encourage open communication with our clients. You also have the opportunity to put your service on hold. A reason for this may be that you are going on holiday or the seasonal market trends are not suited to your needs. Do you handle multiple clients and what happens if their search converges onto my search? We do handle multiple clients, and 'double ups' are a rare occurrence, however we have dealt with these kinds of situations previously. The answer here is to keep open lines of communication and notify parties of any clash. What are the upfront fees? Once you have decided to take advantage of our services, an initial engagement fee is payable, with the remainder being payable after acquisition. What happens if you bid for us at auction for our selected property (acquire only service) and you are unsuccessful? Your initial engagement fee entitles you to our services at 2 auctions.
