SECON maintains its headquarter locations in Lafayette, Louisiana and additional service centers in New Orleans, LA and Houma, LA. From these sites, the company administers a network of services that include more than 600,000 annual collections and/or test specimens for a large variety of public and private clients. In March of 1998, SECON became a... subsidiary of CiviGenics, Inc., a national company providing substance abuse rehabilitation programs and correctional facility management services in seventeen states. In July 2007 CiviGenics was acquired by Community Education Centers, Inc., a leading provider of treatment and education services for correctional and social service populations throughout the United States. SECON's client base covers a wide range of industries and services including oil & gas, manufacturing, construction, criminal justice, and transportation. SECON also provides services to all levels of government (local, state, and federal). SECON personnel have provided collection services for national and international clients since 1982. Company officials have testified before congressional committees, state and civil service hearings, and regularly advise courts as experts in sample collections.
