Seaside Cottage

Seaside Cottage is a private beachfront cottage five minutes south of Campbell River town center. The cottage has a 200 degree view of Discovery Passage, Quadra Island and the Cape Mudge Lighthouse, The Coastal Mountains and the Straight of Georgia. Bald eagles, sea otters, seals, thousands of different sea birds and abundant marine life are seen at Seaside Cottage. Enjoy the variety of ships passing by your doorsteps, including the luxurious Alaskan Cruise Ships. Seaside Cottage is a two minute walk to all essential services, restaurants and variety of shops. A public park is adjacent to the cottage and a public boat launch is only a one minute drive away. Strathcona Park nearby offers almost a million acres of pristine mountains, lakes and streams. For winter visitors, Mount Washington and Forbidden Plateau Ski Resorts offer some of the best snow in British Columbia with over 50 different downhill runs. Cross country trails are also offered. The resorts are only a half hour drive from Seaside Cottage. Fishing charters and guides can be arranged for our guest. Numerous challenging golf courses are close by the cottage. Walk on our pebble beach or explore the reef at low tide and see hundreds of beautiful starfish and other interesting marine life. You can also visit local islands by ferry from Campbell River.
